Piyapath Aran
The second year undergraduates reading for the B.Sc
(Tourism and Hospitality Management) Special Degree Program organized and successfully
conducted a charity event; Piyapath Aran on 28th November, 2018 at Wellaragama Vidyalaya
at Maradankalla.
Before conducting the event, undergraduates were able to repair the physical environment of the school.
School supplies for all the students and books for the school library were donated and the school students' talent show acted as a catalyst for the event.
Dr. DMC Dassanayake, Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Faculty of Management Studies honored the event as the Chief Guest. The event was supervised by Ms. DMMI Dissanayake, Lecturer and the Subject in charge of Event and Leisure Management, Dept. of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
